From time immemorial we all hear our parents, teachers and elders that “this is good” or “this is bad”. All the system of ethics teaches us, “do not steal”, “do not follow untruth”. Very good; but why does a man steal? As a matter of fact, all stealing, falsification, robbing and other evil actions, as a rule, have become automatic. It is a terrible psychological problem. It is not easy to be good unless you are free. We are only machine in spite of ourselves.
Most of the religions in this world come up with an idea of Satan. I don’t really follow this theory because I feel good and bad are both subjective terms. Today what is good for me can be bad for you. A murderer think of killing people, may be he feel good to snatch lives, may be it is bad for the man who suffer. Today whatever good is happening to me perhaps the same goodness would have been proved bad for someone else. The greatest fault of ours is, we are always making this mistake by judging others; we always inclined to think that our little mental universe is all and our self-respect, morality, duties are the only worth having.
This whole universe is a wonderful calculation. Each and everything has meaning. And the biggest irony is that the universe is governed by the law of contradiction. There is contradictions everywhere on the relative plane. We accolade a man by his courage and bravery but that trait doesn’t always exemplify the man. He might shrinks from the knife of a surgeon or might be easily crestfallen by a small emotional turmoil. Take another example; in every society a man is represented by his very best in terms of domination, physical energy and actions. In every society women have been considered as a recessive in comparison with man . How much they are getting developed as par as men, somewhere in our subconscious mind man has got edge over woman. This is absolutely unjust and wrong way of interpreting the things. Do you think a father can take care of a child and give the unselfish love same like a mother does? A woman by nature is soft-hearted, placid and epitomize love and sacrifice. Therefore, it is neither a question of strong nor weak. The one has developed the power of doing and the other the power of suffering. If the woman cannot battle, neither can man suffer. The universe stands on contradictions and life is a perfect balance everywhere.
Once I was considered as a handsome boy, if not in a traditional sense. At that time I never thought of mind and its manifestations. I ate, drank and acted whatever I wanted. Not a bit of physical suffering touched me for long. Now I’m suffering day and night. Sometimes blood comes out and I wish I would have been glad to exchange my mind with my previous physical structure. The whole universe is a beautiful crest and trough. Balance is everywhere despite of having so much turmoil in peripheries.
There is nothing good or bad. Everything is good and everything is bad. We all place our hands before our eyes and cry, bad! Bad! And sometimes that bad infuses another person’s life with goodness. He also covers his eyes and jumps, well! Good!
So what is evil and good? Are they both equal? To find answer we must understand suffering and happiness. When we suffer we go through tremendous mental exertion, we looses the harmony of our mind. The same thing also happens during happiness. We all remain in utter confusion and oscillate between good and bad because we can’t free ourselves from the extremes of both suffering and happiness. In my small life I have experienced that consciousness is everything. If I am not conscious about the little universe inside me, I will remain in the state of confusion and oscillate between good and bad. This is why an ordinary human is a mere machine and work in spite of himself.

I think the problem you're dealing with here is similar to one I'm dealing with too... basically, ethics.
I'm not sure that I believe in the ideas of good and bad anymore... that is to say that I know when I think something is good or bad, but I'm not sure that there's a consensus... it's likely that lots of others don't agree with me.
And then even the words. How can we actually have an absolute good without having an absolute evil, and isn't our 'judgment' really somewhere between the two? Doesn't everyone, after all, have very differing opinions about what the terms good and evil mean? Then what does that say about law and government, any kind of enforcement based on definition? Morality? Ethics?
I like the point you make about the dual meanings we can take from these ideas... but I'm having a hard time deciding what shape thought like that would take in the world?
Sorry if I'm babbling...

In the visual, do the colors black and white suggest a quality judgment...
@Hopper - Thanks for your explanatory comment. good and bad are relative terms and if we make two peripheries, inner or smaller one is of morality made by us and outer one made by nature. when i say good and bad are relative terms that only concerns with human terms, the good and bad what we perceive with our ego but there is obviously one universal good and evil that can't be denied by human logic.
again, me also use logic to prove my point. thats the problem of ordinary human mind, it can't think beyond human terms.
And i really appreciate the babbling, the medium is interactive and i believe one must accept all the comments and views but stick to his or her own ideal.
